It's been 4 days since doctors decided to hold Madison's feeds. She's been real cranky since she misses her mommy's breast milk. Mommy has been at the nicu all day long now since the nurses there only take care of her surgical needs or iv. Daddy's been working hard long hours and misses Maddie very much. Yesterday she weighed 6 lbs and 15 ounces! She's almost 7 pounds. We praying real hard that her intestines will get back to normal size. Right now they are dilated and enlarged and causing much pain. Please continue to pray that she will get well soon. This has been a minor setback and her hospital stay will probably be longer. We look forward to update you soon with pictures.
We set our baby shower date to 11/7, Sunday and look forward to seeing our friends and family soon.
